Terms and Conditions

Eco Cleaning reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these terms and conditions without giving any
prior notice. By ordering any of Eco Cleaning services via telephone, e-mail, fax or other the Client agrees to be
bound by Eco Cleaning terms and conditions.
1. Regular Domestic and Commercial Cleaning Services
1.1 The Client must allow the Cleaning Specialist access to hot water and power.
1.2 There is extra charge, if free parking near the cleaning location is not available.
1.3 There is extra charge for cleaning pet messes, such as faeces, urine, stains and odours.
1.4 If collection of keys is required from a location outside of Dundalk, charges may apply.
1.5 An approximate charge for a cleaning project will be provided over the phone or e-mail.
1.6 Minimum of 2 hours per cleaning visit applies to Dundalk area and 3 hours outside of Dundalk.
1.7 The range of services provided can be found by directly contacting Eco Cleaning on 089 437 5675.
1.8 If the amount of order is less than €100, there is extra travel charge for all locations outside of Dundalk.
1.9 The insurance policy is subject to a number of further terms and conditions available from Eco Cleaning.
1.10 In case of a complaint, Eco Cleaning requires to be directly notified within 24 hours after completion of the
cleaning project.
1.11 If the Client is not present or entry to premises is not available on agreed cleaning day, the Client will be
charged a full order amount.
1.12 All of our Cleaning Specialists have been fully screened through a personal interview and checking of
references and employment history.
1.13 The Client understands that the price he/she has been quoted does not include anything apart from the
services required in an initial phase.
1.14 All fragile items must be secured or removed from the cleaning site. Items excluded from the liability are:
cash, items of sentimental value, art and antiques.
1.15 If duration of a cleaning project is longer than anticipated by the Client, the Client can either agree to pay
larger sum or reduce the amount of cleaning tasks requested.
1.16 Eco Cleaning will not be held responsible for any alarm systems. Clients should give special instructions for
deactivation/activation of any alarm systems in the premises.
1.17 For all larger cleaning projects, such as post construction and deep cleaning, the Client is required to pay a
deposit of 10% of a total price, which will be deducted from the total price upon completion of a project.

1.18 Eco Cleaning agrees to provide a task-list and all cleaning detergents and equipment required to carry out
the cleaning service, unless other arrangements have been made. Any cleaning equipment provided by the Client
should be safe and in a full working order.
1.19 Eco Cleaning can only give a rough estimate of the duration of cleaning service, which is based on a basic
description of the Client’s house/premises. Please note that Cleaning Specialist may discuss a variation on the
planned duration if, in practice, it appears to be required and this will affect a total price of a project.
1.20 Eco Cleaning reserves the right not to proceed with the job if, upon inspection, it is found that the material
to be cleaned or treated is not suitable for cleaning or treatment. Eco Cleaning will not continue with the job if,
for example, water or power is not available or if there is interference in the work from the Client or other person.
1.21 Residential Clients making recurring cleaning service orders should make an order a minimum of one week
prior to first cleaning service delivery.
1.22 The Client agrees that any delay caused by him/her, for instance if the Client is stuck in a traffic and Cleaning
Specialist has to wait until the Client comes to location and opens the door to the premises, is calculated as normal
working time and charged accordingly.
1.23 If the Client does not provide keys for entering premises to be cleaned, the Client automatically agrees to be
present at the premises so to grant an access.
1.24 The Client takes a full responsibility of providing equipment that is in a full working order, as well as easy
access to hot/cold water and electricity.
1.25 Equipment and supplies needed for deep cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning and post-construction cleaning
will be supplied by Eco Cleaning. The Client agrees to provide easy access to hot and cold water and electricity.
1.26 For all commercial cleanings, if the Client requests premises to be cleaned outside of normal office working
hours, Eco Cleaning should be provided with keys and codes to access the premises.
1.27 For all recurring commercial cleanings, the Client should make sure that there is required equipment and
supplies in order to completed cleaning tasks. Any expenses related to supplies provided by Eco Cleaning will
be added to a total service price.
1.28 For all one off commercial cleanings, Eco Cleaning will provide all necessary equipment and supplies. The
Client agrees to provide easy access to hot and cold water and electricity.
1.29 The Client and the Cleaning Specialist will have each other’s phone numbers, so they can get in touch if an
unforeseen event occurs, such as if the Client gets stuck in a traffic and needs to notify Cleaning Specialist of a
delay. By having each other’s phone numbers, both parties can remain in contact at all times.
1.30 Eco Cleaning reserves right to amend the initial quotation, should the Client’s original requirements change.
1.31 Eco Cleaning can only give rough estimate of the duration of the cleaning service, which is based on a basic
description of the Client’s premises. Please note that duration may vary therefore degree of flexibility is required.

2. Payments
2.1 For all residential weekly and fortnightly orders, all cash payments should be made on the same day of
completion of the cleaning service. All money transfers should be done within 7 days.
2.2 For all residential carpet, oven, deep and end of tenancy cleanings, payments must be done on the same day
of completion of the cleaning service either by cash, money transfer or by credit/debit card.
2.3 For all commercial one off cleaning projects, payments should be made within a week of the cleaning project
completion. This can be done by cash, money transfer or credit/debit card.
2.4 For all commercial weekly and fortnightly cleaning projects, invoice will be issued to the Client at the
beginning of each month and the Client is obliged to pay it by the end of a month.
2.5 If paying by cheque, the Client will be responsible for bank/legal charges resulting from dishonored cheque.
2.6 The Client understands that by not making a payment for services received he/she can face legal action taken
by Eco Cleaning.
3. Complaints and Refunds
3.1 Refunds will not be offered if a re-clean is denied by the Client.
3.2 Eco Cleaning may take up to 5 working days to respond to a complaint.
3.3 In case of a damage, Eco Cleaning will try to repair items if it agrees that it caused the damage. If the items
cannot be repaired, Eco Cleaning will rectify this by compensating for the loss occurred.
3.4 The Client accepts and understands that poor service, breakage/damage or theft must be reported within 24
hours from the service date. Failure to do so will entitle Client to no refunds or recovery cleanings.
3.5 All complaints should be made directly to Eco Cleaning by phoning 089 437 5675 or dealing directly with
the Company’s Director Irmina Viliusiene. Complaints should not be made to the Cleaning Specialist and instead
be directed directly to Eco Cleaning.
3.6 If the Client is unhappy with any aspect of cleaning service, he/she should contact Eco Cleaning within 24
hours of cleaning project delivery to schedule re-clean of specific areas that the Client is not satisfied with. If the
Client fails to contact Eco Cleaning for a re-clean, it will imply that the Client is happy with the services delivered.
3.7 Eco Cleaning reserves the right not to be responsible for: delay to cleaning visit due to traffic congestion,
postponed service due to broken equipment, job not complete due to lack of hot water or power and suitable
cleaning materials and/or equipment in full working order provided by the Client, third party entering or present
at the Client’s premises obstructing the cleaning process and accidental damages worth up to €50 or less.
3.8 The Client should appreciate that carpets often will not have a consistent appearance after cleaning by reason
of differences in wear and tear. Sunlight will sometimes cause fading in areas of the carpet and cleaning cannot
rectify this. Stains are not always visible before dirt is removed and it may not be possible to remove those stains

completely. Eco Cleaning will use its best efforts to provide the best result, however the Client is asked to be
aware of these limitations, which are common to all cleaning operations.
3.9 Eco Cleaning has a team of Cleaning Specialists who are dedicated at providing the highest quality cleaning
services as well as 100% Client satisfaction. Cleaning Specialists will never leave premises earlier than agreed
with the Client and will spend entire time making sure cleaning task is completed to the fullest.
3.10 In case of causing unintentional property damage, Cleaning Specialist will immediately inform the Client
who will then have to get in contact with Eco Cleaning on 089 437 5675 within 24 hours.
3.11 All Client information is protected and not shared with the third parties.
3.12 For all larger cleaning projects, such as deep cleaning, end of tenancy and post-construction, if the Client is
in any way disappointed about the quality of service received, he/she should contact Eco Cleaning directly by
phoning 089 437 5675 within 24 hours of a service delivery. Eco Cleaning will organize a re-cleaning within 72
hours of receiving a complaint.
3.13 If the Client is disappointed about any aspect of cleaning or the performance/attitude of Cleaning Specialist,
the Client should contact Eco Cleaning directly on 089 437 5675, so it can be effectively rectified.
4. Insurance
4.1 Eco Cleaning reserves the right to refuse to share any of the confidential company’s documents.
4.2 Eco Cleaning has a Public Liability Insurance. The insurance policy covers any accidental damages caused
by Cleaning Specialist working on behalf of Eco Cleaning, reported within 24 hours of service date.
4.3 The Public Liability Insurance cover does not include anything that may break down or stop working at any
time, such as dishwasher, washing machine, oven, freezer and any other instable items, of which the Client is
already aware. Therefore the Client is obliged to warn Eco Cleaning or Cleaning Specialist about appliances that
are not properly fixed or not in a full working order.
5. Customer Satisfaction
5.1 All Clients understand that they are not entitled to any refunds.
5.2 The Client may be present at all times during the re-clean process. Eco Cleaning reserves full right not to
return Cleaning Specialist more than once.
5.3 If the Client is not completely satisfied with any of cleaning tasks completed, Eco Cleaning will re-clean any
areas and/or items to complete Client’s satisfaction. For this reason, the Client must allow Cleaning Specialist to
be returned at a specified time.
6. Cancellations and Changes
6.1 The Client agrees that deposit funds may be used to cover the cancellation fee.
6.2 The recurring Clients may terminate cleaning services by giving 1 weeks advanced notice.

6.3 The Client may cancel or adjust the time of a cleaning visit by giving at least 24 hours advanced notice.
6.4 If the Client decides to change from weekly to fortnightly cleaning, Eco Cleaning reserves full right to change
the price so it reflects the changes made by the Client.
6.5 The Client agrees to pay the full price of a cleaning visit, if the Client cancels or changes the time or date less
than 24 hours prior to the scheduled cleaning appointment.
6.6 The Client agrees to pay the full price of the cleaning visit in the event of a ‘lock-out’ caused by the Client,
such as no one in the premises to let Cleaning Specialist in or problem with the keys.
6.7 In case of terminating Eco Cleaning services, the Client agrees to pay any outstanding funds in full for services
delivered by Eco Cleaning.
6.8 If the Client fails to pay for services delivered by Eco Cleaning in accordance to terms and conditions, services
will be stopped and the Client will be liable to pay penalties for late payment. If the Client refuses to pay for any
of the services received as well as the late payment fee, the Client will face legal action by being taken to a Small
Claims Court.
7. Liability
7.1 Eco Cleaning reserves the right not to be liable for completing cleaning tasks that are not stated on a task list.
7.2 Eco Cleaning reserves the right not to be liable for third party entering or present at the Client’s premises
during the cleaning process.
7.3 Eco Cleaning reserves the right not to be liable for wear or discolouring of fabric becoming more visible once
dirt has been removed.
7.4 Eco Cleaning reserves the right not to be liable for any damages caused by a faulty or not in a full working
order equipment supplied by the Client.
7.5 Eco Cleaning reserves the right not to be liable for failing to remove old or permanent stains that cannot be
removed using standard carpet cleaning methods.
7.6 Eco Cleaning reserves the right not to be liable for existing damage or spillage that cannot be cleaned or
removed completely using provided cleaning detergents and equipment or standard carpet cleaning equipment.
7.7 Eco Cleaning will advise the Client to provide specific cleaning detergents and to pass cleaning instructions
to the company when placing the order or give instructions to Cleaning Specialist executing a cleaning task.
7.8 Eco Cleaning reserves the right no to be liable for cleaning jobs not complete due to lack of suitable cleaning
detergents and/or equipment in proper working order as well as easy access to hot and cold water and electricity.
7.9 Eco Cleaning reserves the right not to be liable if the Client has gotten items which need special cleaning
methods and special cleaning detergents, Eco Cleaning reserves right to refuse provision of cleaning detergents.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the relevant Irish law and by agreeing to be bound by them the
Client agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of Ireland. Eco Cleaning reserves a full
right to make any changes to any part of these terms and conditions without giving any prior notice.
